masquespacio designs piada’s second shop in lyon

after the successful opening of a piada shop in lyon, france, masquespacio has designed the second piadina eatery in the center of the city. following the aesthetics of its predecessor, the new space respects the initial design characteristics but builds on it to generate an evolved version of it. arched forms, pastel hues, wooden elements, and velvet touches complete the interior, generating a fresh, vivid environment with a variety of textures.

arches, pastel hues and elements of wood

just like the first one, the newly unveiled shop by masquespacio (find more here) seeks to reflect the italian origin of the piada, including its traditional elements and natural ingredients. this is all translated into a language that integrates arches, columns, and gold details, reinterpreting the aesthetics of traditional bars from ancient italy in a contemporary manner. pastel hues clad the interior, adding liveliness to the space, while additions of lush greenery aim to highlight the piada as a healthy food option.

glossy tiles in bright tones create contrasting effects with the wood that partially characterizes the flooring, as well as the custom furniture of the restaurant. velvet cushions cover the walls and the benches, adding warmth to the interior and generating a cozy environment for the customers. the variety of different colors and textures forms a distinctive design language that serves as a iconic expression of the french brand’s identity.
