the new hotel building is constructed as a seven-storey cuboid which will, together with its twin structure, form the street front of the ‘P4’ development. during the design stage, JEMS architekci envisaged the hotel within the broader context of the industrial architecture of this part of the city, and the brutalist character of the project was strongly influenced by these surroundings and was already evident from the initial sketching stage.

the reinforced concrete structure is simple, yet distinctive and spatially present. the repetition of the design elements creates a symmetrical rhythm to the facades and the solid materiality creates an overall bold form. the monumental precast concrete and steel construction is offset with the lush greenery of the interior. the immense windows – going all the way from the floor up to the ceiling – creates a sensation of being outside. in total, the hotel by JEMS architekci offers 164 rooms alongside spacious conference halls and a recreational section, and aims to become part of a larger redevelopment project of the area.
