harry gesner's futuristic ravenseye house in malibu on sale for $9.5 Million

known as the modern maverick of malibu, this los angeles home by harry gesner is on sale for USD $9.5M. perched on a quiet hillside with views to the pacific ocean and dubbed ravenseye, the iconic dwelling features an arched doorway accompanied by a staircase that leads into the great room with massive high-vaulted ceilings.

built in 1997 and located in las flores canyon, the ravenseye house by american architect harry gesner is composed of 4,500 square feet. the vast open plan, together with the floor-to-ceiling windows, soak up the space with sunlight while offering spectacular views. inside, the home is defined by the massive great room which visually recalls frank lloyd wright’s wayfarers chapel. this probably because gesner was in fact, a wright-apprentice.
