urban soul project combines natural materials with a vibrant green color for a jewelry store in the historical center of athens. referencing the jeweler’s creations, kakuru is an organic, gravity-less space featuring suspended display cases, curvy elements and an interior glass façade that creates a visual section inside the space.

a vivid petrol color combined with gold accents prevail in the design, which urban soul project has used to reflect the extensive use of green marble in the store’s jewels. kakuru is located in a small, double-story space whose two window sides are occupied by both vertical and horizontal jewelry displays in all possible heights. custom-made bronze runners follow the organic lines of the pendants and intersect the terrazzo floor, creating a horizontal ‘sculpture’.
