Situated within a restored and redecorated building, close to the Opéra Garnier and Galeries Lafayette, not far from the Bourse, Hôtel Hana is the latest 5-star concept of the ADDRESS HOTELS collection in Paris. Interior architect Laura Gonzalez and art director Olivier Leone have joined forces to concoct a welcoming and eclectic interior emulating the meeting of two cultures. Its name, meaning ‘flower’ in Japanese, reflects the simplicity of Far East minimalism, carefully paired with the opulence of early 20th-century French maximalism. Together, these cultural accents create spaces with qualities of both a cocoon and a boudoir, evoking ‘a feminine aspect, something graceful, voluble, and precious, a true‘jewel box,’ notes the duo.

combining french and japanese aesthetics

Balancing between romanticism and wabi-sabi, Laura Gonzalez (see more here) and Olivier Leone (more here) combine a rich palette of materials, fabrics, and colors alongside skilled artisans, including Sonja de MonchyAteliers Roma, and Signature Mural. Each of the 26 rooms inside Hôtel Hana Paris ultimately reveals a feng shui ambiance, gentle and authentic, devoid of superfluous and superficial elements. Meanwhile, new elements unfold throughout the restored premises, including soaring volumes that draw the gaze upward to the ceiling.

an eclectic program in the heart of paris

Fluid and intimate, the spatial experience at Hôtel Hana Paris is met by ample daylight pooling throughout. This concept extends to the Hanabi restaurant-bar with an open-kitchen menu, curated by Shirley Garrier and Mathieu Zouhairi, known as The Social Food, that balances between bistro tradition and Japanese cuisine. The bar, meanwhile, offers a range of sake-based mixology and colorful cocktails. Last, the wellness area, housing a swimming pool, two treatment cabins, and a cozy fitness space, invites deep relaxation. Hotel Hana opened as part of the ADDRESS HOTELS in February 2024.
