La Punta Villa by PLINTHOS Architects & STEFANIA NTINOU ARCHITECT

La Punta Villa, designed by PLINTHOS Architects and Stefania Ntinou Architect, merges traditional Cycladic architecture with contemporary design, set against the mountainous landscape of Naxos, Greece. Positioned to maximize panoramic views of the Aegean, the villa‘s layout is inspired by the Cycladic squares, where small structures surround a central courtyard. This arrangement, scattered across the steep slope, balances privacy and openness, providing natural protection from the island’s winds and sun.

La Punta Villa blends indoor and outdoor living spaces

The architecture emphasizes simplicity and the use of natural materials, with thick masonry walls finished in stone and plaster, reflecting Naxos’s architectural heritage. The collaborative design team between PLINTHOS Architects and Stefania Ntinou Architect chose these elements for their durability in the local climate and their contribution to bioclimatic comfort, ensuring thermal efficiency and a harmonious living environment.

La Punta Villa integrates indoor and outdoor spaces, with enclosed areas promoting tranquility and open terraces providing unobstructed views of the Aegean Sea. The design fosters a deep connection with the natural surroundings, embodying the essence of Naxos through its respectful adaptation of Cycladic architectural traditions.
