cyberrama’ by cobe architects
‘cyberrama’ by cobe architects is a proposal for a building extension to vejle’s okolarium on the opposite side of dæmningen in denmark. the very location, on top of a parking lot that needs to be maintained, is exhibiting its innovative ambition. the concept is to lift the building above the parking space, supported of a minimal triangular structure. the structure has no pillars or beams, which allows for a vast open space – 2500 sqm for exhibitions.
the triangular structure supports both the floors and the façade. the façade consists of glass, translucent plates and metal mashes making the light of the exhibition space highly flexible; giving the surrounding at night a safe and friendly glow.
