as reported by DNA chicago, construction crews placed a large apple logo on the roof of the new store, transforming the riverside structure into a giant macbook. however, less than 60 minutes later, the logo was removed. located on pioneer square, at the north michigan avenue shopping district, the new store will comprise a total floor area of 20,000 square feet spread between two floors. once inside, the store cascades down the existing steps of the square to the footpath, creating a transparent double-height space.
