Kapoor Opticals by Design i.O redefines eyewear stores’ aesthetics
Kapoor Opticals, designed by Design i.O Architects, redefines the conventional optical store aesthetic with its inaugural Ludhiana location. Spanning 1200 sqft, the store departs from traditional norms with futuristic interiors characterized by angular geometries. Cool-toned materials such as concrete and steel paint harmonize with warm wood accents, forming a sophisticated material palette.
The ground floor features a dynamic layout centered around a long angular counter finished in steel paint, facilitating visitor movement while showcasing premium eyewear brands. Additional island counters and an angled reception table complement this setup. Vertical planes descend from the ceiling, serving both as light features and accents for the island counters.
Angular shelves crafted from Ash-wood veneer create a backdrop that accentuates the eyewear on display, further enhanced by wood-like tiles that add a touch of warmth and luxury. Mirrors strategically placed on the walls aid in selecting eyewear effortlessly.

dynamic Interiors Define Kapoor Opticals’ Eyewear Display
On the first floor, an exclusive collection of ultra-premium eyewear brands takes center stage. Zigzagging planes on the walls form triangular punctures serving as display shelves finished with ash veneer, alternating with mirrors for trying on eyewear. Plush rugs and lounge chairs invite customers to indulge in the luxurious interior, ensuring a comfortable browsing experience.
Kapoor Opticals by Design i.O Architects and their creative team exemplify the integration of functionality and design innovation.
