Following their 2021 collaboration, The Winter House, digital artist and designer Andrés Reisinger has once again teamed up with architect Alba de la Fuente to present a new virtual architectural project, The Crystal Residence.  developed in collaboration with. The new creation is yet again crafted with tangible-world applicability in mind, as its blueprints seamlessly transition into intricate physical floorplans. The mirrored facade captures the essence of the desert surroundings while offering a dramatic contrast against the arid landscape and creating an ethereal interplay between opacity and transparency.

A shining monolith AMIDST THE WILDERNESS

Amidst the rugged surroundings, the dwelling’s reflective exterior stands out, gleaming like a beacon of hope under the sun. With sleek lines and mirrored surfaces, it creates dynamic contrasting visuals against the rugged setting, featuring an array of different materials and textures. At the golden hour, it transforms into a radiant monolith, mirroring the desert in a captivating spectacle of ‘chiaroscuro’.
