10 design re-energises the dubai creek, the contemporary area of al seef touristic destination

international office 10 design reveals its recently built project in the modern district of a new touristic destination of dubai called ‘al seef’. occupying 670 meters of the creek’s waterfront and 85,000 sqm in total, the complex comprises multiple functions, such as retail, restaurants, hotels, marina amenities and more.

led by 10 design’s partner gordon affleck and director paul rogers, the retail and dining features are split into several separate pavilions facing the shores of arabian sea. providing the spaces which blur the boundaries between the inside and outside, the open structures are designed following modern retail and hospitality concepts.

as an extension for the two hotels by jumeira chain, a separate food and beverage water pavilions spread through the creek merging with the cascading landscape. using the mix of materials and techniques, the studio has turned the new destination of dubai into a modern and prosperous district rich with eclecticism and possibilities.
