‘malva’ lamps
german design studio ett la benn has developed ‘malva’, a series of lights that draws from the natural qualities of cellulose and viscose. the objects, constructed from moistened sponge cloths are air dried on a mold to achieve its final form.
the translation of this compostable material into individual design pieces through basic processes of forming and drying has enabled the product to be sustainable.
