‘PLUGIN’’, a seating/sleeping system, powered with a woofer sound system, a reading light, a phone jack and electric sockets, is ideal to aid the lifestyle of urban youth. This trend changer understands needs of the user to be comforted while being electronically connected. With the inclusion of speakers, requiring a home entertainment system becomes unnecessary. Bluetooth takes user experience a notch higher allowing the user to play his music as per his desire. Including electrical sockets allows the user to access his electronic devices giving him full control over his entertainment. Also, the LED flexible light assists him while reading.

Materials Used *
Body:
It consists of seat structure, back structure & leg PU foam. The seat & back are connected to each other by Frankoflex mechanism [make - Hettich]. It is connected to leg PU foam with common fabric upholstery.
Seat structure - Made by ply construction. Nylon strap of 50mm width is stapled on top surface. PU foam is used on top & side surface as cushion. Bricks are used as dead weight. MS metal brackets are used for joining ply as well for strengthening purpose.
Back structure - Made by ply construction. PU foam is used on top & side surface as cushion. MS metal brackets are used for joining ply as well for strengthening purpose.

Cushion:
Made of PU foam & covered with fabric upholstery. It is separate.

Electronic kit:
‘PLUGIN’ consists of a main power supply box having safety fuse, Speaker [2 Nos.] with woofer [1 No.], Audio jack pin,USB light, Bluetooth function,Charging point [2 Nos.] having common switch with indicator.

Finish:
Upholstery is made of Smokey grey foam laminated fabric.
Metal components are powder coated.
