THE POPPIES (DINING) CHAIR™ is a comfortable, sturdy chair made with Grade A Teak wood with a thickly padded foam seat and back, upholstered in silk. The dimensions make it easy to fit in smaller spaces. This chair can be used either as a standalone piece, or part of a set of dining chairs. Either the entire set can be made using the floral motif, or this can be the focal chair, with the other chairs customized to be simpler reflections of it. The designer’s love of nature and the delicate Poppy flower are the inspirations for this chair. The chair is heavily hand embroidered in shimmering sequins to depict the beauty of a dew- laden poppy field glistening in the morning sun.

Detailing:
Master carvers in Mumbai exquisitely and lovingly hand carved this piece in Grade A Teak wood. The piece is polished in a rich red mahogany tint. The back of the chair is exquisitely carved to depict intertwining fronds with grooves cut into it for the poppy flowers and leaves. Each leaf and flower is foam padded and upholstered in silk that has been hand embroidered in mixed media sequins to reflect the beauty of a dew laden Poppy frond.
