‘100%SAP’ by dutch design studio raw color is a project about the power of natural color. here ink is derived from vegetables to drive a new printing process. this method enables the viewer to watch the posters print grow gradually, turning a 3-D ingredient into a 2-D icon.

‘100%SAP’ will be showcased as part of dutch invertuals, a multidisciplinary collective of independent designers at the verger store between april 14-19, 2010 during milan design week 2010.

dutch invertuals brings together design academy graduates with far ranging disciplinary backgrounds from product, graphic, food, spatial, fashion to material design. in collaboration with verger, this collective will take familiar materials out of their usual context and put them to use in unusual applications. daphna isaacs, EDHV, jon stam, laurens manders,mieke meijer, studio jo meesters, raw color and verger are the eight participants of dutch invertuals.

beets are put into a processor to accumulate its natural juices

set up consists of a juicer that feeds the underlying funnel and pipe with vegetable juices. the liquids drip further down the paper to create the final design.
