german-born belgian-based designer alain berteau will present his ‘instant shelving unit’ (I.S.U.) for belgian furniture company feld, during milan design week 2010. I.S.U. is a DIY bookshelf with a flat-pack design solution which requires no tools for assembly. the bracket components of the unit are self-opening, in which shelves are placed.

among other products berteau will also be exhibiting ‘swing’during the week’s events. an adjustable lamp collection for belgian company aluci, ‘swing’ is made from all-aluminium frames with LEDs, and has double hinged components which allow for maneuverability.
