The Niels Chair is a new typology of seat: a micro-environment made of enveloping soft and rounded seat, standing on the inox base. Its organic envelope made of woolen upholstery provides you with an extraordinary space of comfort and quietude. Niels lets you isolate yourself, but still remain connected to world thanks to its random openings.
The concept of Niels chair is based on the fact that our body is constantly in motion during the day and that we change the body posture according to our activities: working, phoning, relaxing, playing, reading, using multimedia tools. Niels accommodates all these postures in one furniture.
It also helps you to regain the natural yoga body posture: kneeling position, sitting back on your heels, which straightens the hips and the back, tones the abdominal muscles and improves the blood circulation. Simultaneously, more oxygen is supplied to the brain, creating a lasting sense of wellbeing.
