This summer Gucci presents its Décor collection within a whimsical and regal ‘garden of delights,’ photographed by visual artist Max Siedentopf. The Italian fashion house looks to the pristine and ordered geometries of classic French landscape design, riffing on their familiar neat hedges and topiaries with playful leafy sculptures depicting pieces from the collection. Aptly titled A Garden of Delights, this modern play on the Romantic landscape is born of creative director Alessandro Michele’s fascination with nature.

a botanical atmosphere for gucci décor

In Gucci’s Décor campaign A Garden of Delights, items are paired with massive teapot- and armchair-shaped topiaries carved by Andy Hillman Studio to lend an eccentric and dreamlike atmosphere. The series was envisioned by the fashion house‘s creative director Alessandro Michele and brought to life by photographer and visual artist Max Siedentopf. The massive collection itself includes botanical porcelain tea sets, double-sided cushions, metal candles with lids, and jacquard armchairs. Together, the objects recall the opulence of the Decorative Arts with their passementerie accents and intricate floral motifs.

Alongside regal table settings and delicate knick-knacks, a series of wallpapers show both floral and retro geometric patterning, with some rendered in a tactile linen texture. Bold, monogrammed blankets are offered in luxury materials combining wool, linen, and silk. Head over to Gucci’s website to shop the collection here.
