following his lowered jeep wrangler concept, khyzyl saleem returns with another outrageous render. this time around the self taught concept artist has turned volkswagen‘s iconic beetle car into a porsche 992 GT3. 

‘sorry porsche purists,’ wrote saleem on instagram.‘yup, this is the outcome of my next @hagerty youtube video, one in which my curiosity got the better of me. I’ve imagined what a modernised beetle in the styling of the new @porsche 992 GT3 would look like for quite a while now, so figured, why not finally try it!’

saleem modelled the eye-popping car concept for hagerty’s youtube show ‘rendered’. the final render combines the porsche 992’s front and rear features with the iconic shape and feel of the VW beetle. watch the video below to see exactly how the artist creates the perfect combination of volkswagen and porsche.

‘it’s quite a fun process, for me anyway, the back and forths trying to figure out how and where I want shapes to protrude and not,’ continued saleem. ‘super happy with the outcome! worked quite well together!’
