antonio citterio patricia viel completes bulgari hotel in the city of light

milan-based multi-interdisciplinary firm ACPV ARCHITECTS antonio citterio patricia viel has completed a bulgari hotel in paris, providing visitors with a new kind of hotel experience. the design concept sees italian hospitality meeting the jewelry heritage of bulgari and the glorious history of paris. breaking with the traditional codes of parisian architecture, the elegant building enriches the 8th arrondissement, at the heart of the world-renowned golden triangle of paris, with its contemporary style.

a sumptuous domestic environment devoted to art and culture

the building and the façade have been designed and restyled by ACPV ARCHITECTS antonio citterio patricia viel (see more here) in collaboration with the french architectural firm valode & pistre (see more here). the design team employed clear lines and subtle references to italian renaissance architecture, bringing a new graphic identity to join the elegant buildings of the avenue george V.

as for the interiors, the building consists of 76 rooms and suites, including the bulgari penthouse, an exceptional private apartment of nearly 400 sqm with its own 569 sqm panoramic roof garden overlooking the capital’s iconic monuments. the bulgari hotel paris also boasts a 1,300 sqm signature spa with a 25-meter semi-olympic pool, workshop gymnasium fitness studio, vitality pool, 9 spa treatment rooms, and a 65 sqm spa suite.

an impeccable, authentic yet informal style

when it comes to materiality palette, the designers chose to utilize the same color scheme and textures that characterize its siblings in milan, london, dubai, shanghai and beijing: marble, silk wallcoverings, granite, tapestries and varnished eucalyptus woodwork complete the inside creating an elegant yet warm atmosphere. the luxury is expressed as much through the smallest details of the building and its materials as through the unique personality of bulgari itself.
