the show brings together forty prototypes, pieces which are representative of french design, and its application to the living environment, all of which have been designed over the last thirty years. the exhibition celebrates the work of VIA and its visions to: promote creativity and innovation within the field of lifestyle management, promoting and supporting upcoming talent, bringing about collaboration and exchange between designers, art directors, manufacturers and distributors as well as detecting lifestyle trends in the evolution of the living space over the medium and long term. included in the exhibition are the early achievements of philippe starck, matali crasset, ronan and erwan bouroullec, gaetano pesce and martin szekeley to name a few.

a selection of pieces from this collection of prototypes will be given to the centre pompidou, adding to the some odd 3,000 design pieces the institution already owns.
