JACK is a handlebar-attached rack that securely straps to almost any bike, offering a straightforward solution to carrying your things while riding. JACK is made from solid stainless steel and is lightweight yet strong for loads of up to five kilos — but unofficially can take five times more weight. it fits your bike with a tool-free strap system, while no particular frame or fork, no specialist equipment, or bike maintenance skills are required.all images courtesy of wholegrain cycles unless stated otherwise

JACK — now on kickstarter here —  came out of necessity in 2016 when the designers were searching for an easy solution to carry stuff on their daily 14km commute to the studio and weekend rides. this bike component and accessories startup was founded by a group of bike lovers and adventurers with years of industry experience. they sought to create versatile, thoughtfully produced, easy-to-use accessories that anyone can install and enjoy, without daunting and over-engineered tools. ‘we’re on a mission to human solutions for humans who ride bikes!,’ said the designers.

JACK has been taken through its paces in shanghai summers and german winters
