just completed in yalikavak on the bodrum peninsula in turkey, the ‘bodrum houses’ by new york-based richard meier architects is a collection of twenty-one homes on a steep slope. the masterplan divides parcels into a single acre across the dramatic topography, keeping privacy between neighboringstructures and unobstructed views to the bay. five prototype dwellings contain 330 square meters with separate guest houses measuring 40 square meters.
homes feature an established entry sequence beginning with the drive. an outdoor stair leads directly into the foyer and double-height living room.organized around a chimney, the interior is complete with a dining, kitchen and WC on the ground floor. three bedrooms, media room,laundry while staff are situated on the basement level.
