created by husband-wife duo matthew and joanna hofmann, the living vehicle 2022 model does not need to be plugged in and bound to campsites, thanks to its innovative design, and self-sufficient technology. the camper is built from marine and aircraft-grade materials capable of withstanding virtually anything the elements can throw its way. with approximately 22 sqm (232 sqft) of interior space, the camper is outfitted with a residential-style kitchen, a master bedroom, and a spa-style bathroom, while its oversized windows, skylights, and sliding glass doors, blur the boundary between inside and outside. 

the key feature of the 2022 LV is its energy independence, with a host of upgraded onboard energy-generating resources enabling onboard equipment to run off-grid. when adequate sun conditions occur, the trailer can sustain power indefinitely, offering solar air-conditioning without limitation. meanwhile, the vehicle has enough power capability to charge electric vehicles using an integrated 240V level 2 charging station. to maximize time off-grid, the luxury home is completely self-contained, with its capacities including 100 gals of fresh water, 80 lbs of propane, and a compost toilet that completely revolutionizes the wastewater management system. the existing black water tank is converted into a secondary gray-water tank, thus doubling the capacity of the standard gray water tank system and creating a significant resource savings for traveling off-grid.

additional attributes of the camper include an extremely durable anodized aluminum skin, which is three-times harder than standard aluminum, aging gracefully without chipping, peeling, or flaking. as far as the interior is concerned, the space incorporates a media room with a private home theatre, a bedroom that converts into an office, a spa-style bathroom with a rainfall showerhead, along with an automatic lowering and raising deck for exercise, lounging, grilling and more.
