noir nightlcub by francois frossard design cancun mexico moon palace resort by francois frossard from usa
designer's own words:
francois frossard was recently commissioned to design "noir" nightclub in the moon palace resort in cancun mexico. his inspiration drew from the movie tron: legend. especially the loft that jeff bridge's character kevin flynn lived in. francois states. "i knew I wanted to create something very cool based on the lighting and design of this loft."
the ceiling provides a focal center piece. this was achieved by making interlocking chrome laminated octagons accented by indirect pixelated led lighting. the walls are finished with a black stack stone and glitter wallpaper throughout. the couches are custom made with a pearlescent vinyl and accented with tufted detail to enhance the final look. we also produced custom fiberglass tables with a pearlescent finish encased in in yellow plexiglass. the dj booth has a black and silver vinyl wall treatment on the facade. the dj booth counter is made of black granite and the wall behind is a custom 6 mm pitch led video display. the "white room" area is a raised vip section that has a custom millwork bar with a pearlescent silver lacquer finish. The back of the white room bar is accented with a custom 12 foot by 16 foot ethanol fueled fireplace feature.
