CUR.VAT.URE

CUR.VAT.URE by jake griffiths from uk

designer's own words:

'cur.vat.ure' experiments with form. it seamlessly creates a symbiotic relationship with the user. integrated light forms within the design turn on when the user walks past them and off when the user walks away. this creates mysticism and interactive excitement. infiniti has the ethos and the products to match that generate exhilarating excitement, elegance and underlined performance all controlled by the driver behind the wheel. within this installation the user is put into the driving seat. 4 terminals with touchscreens allow them to control the projections, change them, blend them and create something truly unique. The integrated device within these terminals has hd video recording technologies that records the visitors unique performance and allows them instantly to upload this media to social networking sites. #infiniticurvature.

the components are constructed from aluminium studs with a layer of GRG (glass reinforced gypsum) and finished off in white glossy GRP (glass reinforced plastic) panels. recessed strip led lights are used within the structure to minimise heat output and maximise on economy. the panels are suspended via cables from either a solid ceiling or a pre-installed truss. the design can be modified if need be to allow for freestanding modules as opposed to suspended ones giving maximum flexibility.

the real pinnacle of the installation though is the integration of the musion eyeliner holographic projector that creates the illusion that the magnificent infiniti essence is floating within the curved structure.

the combination of unique experiences, performance, mysticism, unpredictable outcomes and sheer excitement make this installation the perfect match for infiniti.
