Giessfluss – A moulded stool by lorenz schibler from switzerland

My starting idea was to reinterpret the traditional casting procedures by using untypical material mixtures. After a series of experiments I came up with a process that allowed me to cast a stool using a grout made of polystyrene pellets and liquid epoxyd. The final product clearly shows the typical fluidity of the casting procedure and surprises with its unusual look and feel.
