read between the lines by benedetta leonardi from italy
designer's own words:
Moleskine’s nomadic objects are tools which contain our personal vision of reality. A Moleskine is something personal and secret.
To open someone’s Moleskine, is to enter into their world, to glimpse at their thoughts and feelings.
However, Moleskinerie is a way to publically express our inner thoughts and feelings. It is a place to discover how others perceive reality, to be exposed to details never noticed before. It allows us to jump into the world of a stranger. Here, we interpret someone else’s point of view… to find a hidden meaning.
Moleskinerie is to read between the lines.
Concept:
reading between the lines
To perceive someone’s real feelings or intentions, that which is not written explicitly or openly.
To discover a hidden meaning.
Symbolic gestures
Hand gestures are used to reinforce a message or to provoke an audience in a strong way.
The hand gesture with 3 raised fingers, creating spaces between each finger is the symbolic implication to read between the lines. It is a powerful gesture intended to provoke the public.
