at start, the logo was supposed to describe the inner filling of the pencil shaped as a heart. this was supposed to symbolize the love towards writing, drawing and mapping (that's how the pencil became a gps marker in stage 3) the users thoughts. at the last stage, the pencil became a character, representing sort-of-an fairy tale king, aiming to follow the moleskinerie slogan "legends and stories".
