designer's own words:
the idea of this project is a refresh of the identity, of the concept of the notebook, its necessary to attack the new generations and to let then know this kind of notebook is not only for old people, it's for all creative community, all ages.
after the experience i suffer with my sister, i realized one of the characteristics of the logo who need to change is the typography, so after looking for a good font i found one with modern look but at the same time has an old school style. the pencil icon its a representation of the action you will take at the moment you get the moleskine notebook, represents the experience and the process of using it.
part of my process was sketches, investigation, experimentation, etc. and the platform i used was adobe illustrator and photoshop.
