a blog made by you. why then not a logo made by you as well? i wrote the name "moleskinerie" as if it was filled in by hand and i used a hand writing sort of font so to suggest a logo drawn by the user. the context of the two lines and the pencil makes the idea more explicit and links the blog with the actual products offered by moleskine so to suggest that the use of different media does not imply any difference in the philosophy of the company and in their concern for the importance of your own style. the logo works in any color, in black and white, reverse out and in relief - in relief it would create a very interesting texture
