using just plastic bottles and scotch tape, this group of artists has created an artwork that speaks volumes. conceived by chaosteria, lingxia wang, and jianqiang li, ‘amber’ is an artistic installation that viscerally expresses the consequences of plastic pollution.

with a figure trapped inside, it’s like the plastic cube has become a monster. the plastic consumes the figure and prevents them from escaping. in this way, the artists make an astute commentary on our abuse of plastic products and how it could affect our future.
‘amber is a tragedy even though it looks beautiful. this sudden disaster, you don’t even have time to struggle. with the abuse and pollution of plastic products, you and I may all be wrapped in amber in the future,’ say the artists.
