genuine mole skin by theresia fladl from germany

a play on the very moleskine name, I hoped to embody the moleskine fan (now and historically) in a character. the design was intended to have old fashioned qualities in both style and composition. because moleskinerie has a lot of reader/fan generated content, I thought it appropriate to have a playful solution that could be easily updated/modified in surprising and content appropriate ways. the core idea – a genuine product loved by creative types – would, of course, remain.
