the project focus and emphasize the pure mechanical function of the door handle through the definition of a sculptural form which is set as an autonomous object in relation to its ground, the door. the handle is to be realized completely in injected aluminium, as a single shaped component with 2 faces/ends where the company logo can be printed and recognized. the double nature of an object which is both strictly functional (mechanics) yet decorative (sculpture) is what is at stake for the design of the handle
