let them in

designer's own words:

my door handle named « let them in » is produced starting from common stainless steel pieces of simple forms. its axis is a tube cut at an angle of 45°, in its width, so that each of the two pieces obtained are used, face to face, on two sides of the door, in order to be complementary, without generating lost falls. in the same way, each of the two handles is obtained by cutting a steel plate of which each half is entirely used for manufacture. the handle itself, is folded, and a part of it is rounded to marry the shape of the hand. the other part of the handle matches with the angular part of the axis previously described. lastly, the handle points slightly towards the user, it thus marks an inflection heralding the change of space that constitutes a door crossing.
