my intention in the luna design was to make the use of this handle intuitive in its downward motion without being excessive or overly obvious. i started with the crescent idea and through refinement i simplified the form and gave it a downward orientation, preserving the motion of the design while providing a better aesthetic. the intention of the design was a singular statement with elegant lines.
