the basis of the motiva door handle design is in juxtapositioning of two primary elements: a big and heavy door knob and a light, ribbon-like handle that wrappes around it. geometric, yet playfull curvature is a step out of the rigid bounds of this internal logic - it is like if bent with a grasp of a firm arm and waiting to be grasped. (also suitable for hanging clothes (a function that is often adopted by a handle).)
