there are two types of handles here.
the shape is designed to indicate whether to push or pull the door and to avoid the need for additional graphics.
the handle is formed from grade 316 stainless steel plate curved into a semi-circle.
the open face is the pull handle inviting the hand around the curved shape.
the curved face is the push handle inviting the hand to push the curved shape.
both are fixed to the door leaf via a stainless steel block with hidden fixings.
each has a hard plastic insert as a tactile or visual contrast to the stainless steel.
these sit within the middle section of the handle.
these inserts could be black or coloured, slotted into a groove in the stainless steel.
