In designing the technical details of Memoir, ergonomics and interactivity were the key drivers in our ideation. In terms of ergonomics, we believe in creating a fluid upclass door knob design that speaks to our target market - the high class executives. Therefore, stainless steel and acrylic were used as the core materials of the actual design. How the pen can be well integrated into the design plays an important role in adding that special touch of interactivity onto the door knob. A pen represents a status of a man, so we
believe in designing a high quality pen design that provides the
user a premium feel. With Memoir unique as a door knob
messenger pen, we hope to create a design that is
ergonomic, useful and expressive for the users.
