I was impressed by your suggestion “…it’s more the way somebody handles the idea that makes art.” So it was easy thinking a hand handles another hand, like shake-hands when you meet somebody. This handle it’s not just a hand sculpture, it’s a very powerful Peace Sign. The importance of this project it’s the message, the communication to the people. The idea is to make an abstract hand, not many details with. About the material I think the best will be white glossy silicon as a rubber glove put on a metal structure inside the glove. I choose silicon because the handle of this project it’s a massive volume that could be too heavy if realized all with metal, and the silicon it’s also a pleasant material to touch.
