in my proposition for a new door handle, a rosette is no longer part of the overall lever appearance. though still existing – it functions as a cover and as a pivotal point – the metal-cast handle is now roofing the rosette. this gives me the freedom to come up with a more refined design. i interpreted the classic L-shaped handle in a new way without negating its iconic, well-accepted form.
