Branch Handle by Ori Mishkal from israel

I had chosen handle that is connected to the material it is made from.
Looking at colored wooden doors made me think about the hidden material below, natural wood locked under layers of colors processed into unified surface.
The tense in the handle had created when I used natural wood material side by side with the manufactured wood. This increases the focus to the door material.
The handle base is made of cupressus tree, taken from carpentry waste.
The handle is made from tree branch tailored to fit hand grip.
the base is glowed to the door and the handle is drilled to the base so it can twist.
