as a quality product, cross should be made out of bronze. for aesthetics reason, it should be chromed, i suggest to use chrome plate on the cross part and matt chrome on the hand part, as you can see on my renderings.
cross has roundings and fillets all around.
i beleive my design will look very elegant on any cool hotel door.
