street artist giulio vesprini regenerates playground in italy with vibrant colors

aiming to upgrade the small community of sant’elpidio a mare in italy after the COVID-19 pandemic, street artist giulio vesprini has completed the ‘super – space’ / struttura g050. the project consists of a large painting on a playground space and it is vesprini’s second work on a flat surface, the first one being ‘struttura g041’.

the ‘super – space’ by giulio vesprini is a large urban trace that can be seen from the above, becoming a characterizing place for the area, as well as a meeting point between culture, sport and nature. shades of blue and red embrace each other, generating a harmonious balance between warm and cool tones. meanwhile, the combination of the intricate shapes and the vibrant colors provide an interesting visual effect, attracting locals to enter the playground.

however, ‘super – space’ can not just be seen as a revitalized playground. it is a symbol for artistic creativity, freedom and expression, tracing new defined paths towards beauty and vitality. in order to describe his state of mind and the intentions behind his work, vesprini has borrowed chinese philosopher chang-tzu’s words: ‘happiness is the absence of striving for happiness‘.
