Nali a punctuation of space

Nali a punctuation of space by robache damien from france

designer's own words:

doors lead us from one space to another. sometimes, we wonder what kind of space is behind this opening. the concept of nali (that means “where?” in chinese) is inspired by this interval we have before the entrance.
moreover, the dynamic and symbolic of the crossing begin with the use of door handling. nali is brought about simplicity of this gesture. its folding shape is like punctuation between spaces.

nali door handle could adapt to different situations, including its look, functions (key, “do not disturb” display, lock...) and signage.

nali is composed of 2 handles, 2 covers down the handle, 2 stickers and a standard square.
the handle is cast brass and is fixed with a screw to the square. the handle inner side is curved to be more ergonomic. the folded shape of the handle covers the surface on the door around the standard square.
the concept nali is adaptable to very different contexts so that finishes could be various: metallic (chrome, aluminium, gunmetal...) or painted.
the cover is fixed on the door with a rail. the sticker could be a polyurethane film colourful or printed.
