HANDLE WAVE by Marco Tozzi from italy

This handle comes from the idea of creating an object that has a perceptual features traditional and recognizable at first glance, but at the same time having a strong character, which is made out in any context. The traditional material (brass) and the call of his silhouette to the classic elegance and handles give it the ability to integrate seamlessly into any environment, both residential and contract. The strong character, however, is given by the particular ripping the sobriety of reinterpreting the function handle, the creek that crosses the horizontal handle, reminiscent of the movement of a wave that magnification in the vicinity of the rocks, going to break on them. This rift, which set in opposition to full volumes with a void volume, break the linearity of the handle, giving it a touch of unpredictability that strikes the eye.
The material used for the realization of this handle is brass, which is modeled using the common technique of hot pressing. Once off the press handle is processed to give different finishes: polished brass, satin brass, chrome plated brass, satin crome brass and gold brass.
