designer's own words:

the project starts from a market research concerning the field of design of handles that revealed a substantial homogeneity of shapes and styles, though with some exceptions.
our aim was to combine formal elegance with ergonomic studies, seeking a original and unique line.
after a careful observation, we found behavior in agreement in the way to grisp a handle to open a door, hence the creation of a sinuous form to receive the thumb of the hand.
the distinctive feature of the project consists in the central hole that runs through the entire handle: this provides an original aesthetic form and, at the same time, less material in production.
the working will happen for die casting through the use of two semi-metal molds.
the material used for the realization will be brass, with the possibility to realize handles in three different colors: chrome, matte chrome and gold plus.
finally the name "anita" wants to express our intent to combine feminine elegance to a revolution of formal type.
