The inspiration for this project leaves from the idea of bringing in the gesture of opening and closing the tactile sensations of the natural world outside. The wood, with brass, are the protagonists of this collection of handles. The selected genuine woods (olive, cypress, pear), give personality to handle and stimulating touch, awareness and bring further meaning to the gesture of opening and closing. Simplicity, functionality, linearity and sharpness characterized Leaf from a formal point of view.
