based upon the concept of closed and open i wanted to incorporate both ends in one design and create a new visual perception of a door and door handle. next to the my concept i wanted to create a sleek and fresh way to see the door and door handle without hightech - just a low tech mechanism in a new jacket.

material used = aluminium
technique = cnc milled
finish = pearl sandblasted coating

the door handle consists out of 3 parts - where the middle part slides to open the latch. the outer parts hold the door handle in position.
