designer's own words:

foro is the result of considering form in a non-traditional manner. the form has been broken down into a series of elements to detach it from classically elongated lines. its non-centric arrangement of void and volume is consolidated by soft organic surfaces that meet at sharp definitions around forms that are ergonomically instructive. foro blends a bold outline with finely detailed edges, giving it a modern sculptural quality. production of each handle requires three cast parts that are fixed together by a single screw that is inserted at the rear of the boss, fixing through the handle to the rear of the facing plate. interchangeable elements allow the design to be tailored by mixing the range of component finishes.
